Bridport Community Orchard Group benefits from enormous support from many local people, businesses and organisations. Thank you to: - The staff of Bridport Town Council for their invaluable contribution to this joint project. - The former Town Clerk, Bob Gillis, for his sterling advice and support. - Daryl Chambers. Apple Day would be impossible without his team, who also cut the grass in the orchard. - Linda Bullock kindly gave us a set of display boards. - Groves Nurseries generously continue to sponsor our newsletter. - Bridport Round Table gave us a shed for storage of equipment. - The Lions Club started the fund to buy apple juicing equipment (in 2011) and gave a further grant for planting trees on Jubilee Green, in Park Road, in 2012. - Waitrose has also supported us as one of their community groups, and raised money to help buy our apple juicing equipment. - Jewsons gave us timber for the pond dipping platform. - Many local businesses give us their products for Apple Day, which enables us to raise funds to support our work all year. We are most grateful.
